I had big plans for a garden this year. I was going to plant all kinds of vegetables and we could have fresh salads all summer. Well you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men? The garden didn't happen. I got the plot dug up and ready to turn into my garden when my hubby had other plans. It is now our family fire pit area. Can't complain about that :) We had good times last year cooking outside and roasting marshmallows. Besides, with two dogs, it would be hard to keep them out of the garden until we get a fence up.
My husband promised to get one up for next summer. My garden this year consists of the topsy turvy tomato planter. I can hang it so the dogs will leave it alone and I love tomatoes so it's worth a shot! I planted them yesterday and they survived the night. I'm curious to see if it really will produce nice big tomatoes.
I always have big plans for the garden, too. And so far they've never worked out! My garden this year also ended up downgraded to just a Topsy Turvy planter - though mine has squash instead of tomatoes. :) Good luck with your gardening!
